The Sun Devils host defending (back-to-back) national champion Oregon State this weekend.

While the latest USA TODAY/ESPN Coaches Poll has ASU ranked at 3rd, the most recent Baseball America Poll still has them ranked 2nd.

Probable Friday night starters will be (RHP)Mike Stutes for the Beavers and (LHP) Josh Satow for ASU.

Satow has quite a story and has certainly fought through some difficult circumstances in his life. (Most recently the death of his father). He is undersized at 5'9" 165 lbs and has a fastball that rarely rises above the mid 80's. He pitches with courage and works the strike zone fearlessly, and has never let his less-than impressive physique or "stuff" discourage him.

While this season has been exciting for ASU and could ultimately end in their first national championship since 1981, the "feel good story" of the team is Satow. A trip to Tempe to see him pitch in his final season as a Sun Devil would be worth it for any aspiring pitcher.
